Schematic Design Proposal

1. The student assistant / receptionist will face the front entrance. There will be a privacy panel to mask the view of cables, equipment, purses, shoes, stuff, etc...in order to create a clean, welcoming environment. Faculty, guests and students will have access to mailboxes, course listings, perhaps a small digital gallery, etc...Superfurniture may be designed and built by students.

2. Propose to use synthetic resin seamless surface flooring (white + black).

3. Furr out existing walls so they are smooth and clear of old markings, conduit, scars, etc.

4. Remove dropped ceiling and expose precast concrete.

1. The black piece of superfurniture will house all information that guests, faculty and students need access to such as course listings, mailboxes, personnel, etc..

1. Glass doors allow for the transmission of light, views and visual access on the part of students, guests and faculty.

2. There is a clear and immediate visual connection between the administrative assistant and the chair.
